LLUNDAIN - LONDON

Syth ar ol Cyfarfod Cyngor Cymuned (oriau man y bore) roeddwn yn dreifio am Llundain. Tydi dim byd yn newid yno ar wahan i draffig yn waeth, ffyrdd yn beryg bywyd a pawb yn ddreifar gwael ond myfi wrth gwrs.

Tu allan i Llundain roeddwn lle delfrydol o Geidwadol o'r enw Lower Kingswood, efo tai fel cestyll, ac ambell plum yng ngheg y trigolion.

Heb gyfrifiadur, roeddwn ar goll, hon yw'r peiriant sy'n cymeryd nodiadau, cofnodion a ballu ond nid ar waith roeddwn yno felly doedd dim lle iddi yn y car.

Cychwyn yn ol am 9.30 fore Gwener, a traffig a damweiniau ar hyd y draffordd. M1 roeddwn ynghannol traffic damwain am 2 awr, M6 am 3 awr yn sefyll yn sownd tra roedd ambiwlans a'r heddlu yn trin pethau.

Roedd gennyf gyfarfod i fod am 1.30 Ddydd Gwener ac un arall am 6.30 ond fu rhaid gohirio'r ddau gan wnes I ddim cyrraedd adref tan 7.30 neithiwr (Nos Wener).

Bore ma gyda agor ebyst, roedd tros 40 ohonynt yn fy nisgwyl (3 diwrnod o ebyst) ac allan o rheini ond 5 oedd yn ddefnyddiol jync oedd y gweddill.

Rwan moral hyn yw wrth gwrs i fynd a'r peiriant hwn efo fi bob tro yn un peth, a cymeryd y tren tro nesaf.

Straight after the Community Council meeting on Wednesday, (straight after midnight) I was driving to London. Nothing changes in London apart from increase in Traffic and the road are much more dangerous, with everyone (apart from myself of course) a dangerous driver.

I was outside London in a very conservative area called Lower Kingswood, with houses like castles and people talking with a plum in their mouths.

Without the laptop, I was lost, as I take notes, minutes and everything on it, and I didn't have room to take it.

Starting off at 9.30am on Friday morning, there was nothing but traffic and accidents on the motorway. I was stuck for over 2 hours on the M1, and upwards of 3 hours on the M6 whilst the emergency services dealt with accidents.

I had arranged a meeting at 1.30pm and at 6.30pm but had to cancel both as I didn't arrive home until well after 7.30 last night (Friday).

This morning I opened my email and the last 3 days' emails were there, over 40 of them with only 5 being anything of value the others were spam.

Now the moral of all this is firstly to take the laptop with me even for social/private visit and next time, to take the train.
