5 WYTHNOS I FYND - 5 WEEKS TO GO

Wel gyda wythnos o wyliau'r plant wedi mynd, does on 5 wythnos yn weddill. Wsos yma roedd fy mhlant wedi bod yn nofio dan gynllun "Nofio am ddim " Y Cynulliad, un o gynlluniau gorau sydd wedi cael ei weithredu, yfory diwrnod yn Gelligyffwrdd, ond beth am wythnos nesaf ?

Pan yn blentyn, roeddwn allan o'r ty am 8.00 y bore a doedd fy rhieni ddim yn fy ngweld tan tua 9.00 y nos. Un diwrnod yn 10 oed mi wnaethom fynd ar ein beics i Felinheli i lan afon menai ac i dy Nain. Rwan eith plant ddim allan heb Nintendo DS, Ipod neu MP3, does yna ddim dringo coed, gwneud dens, dwyn afalau, neu chwarae pel droed a neidio dros yr afon (gan ddisgyn iddi ambell waith).

Tydi bywyd plant heddiw yn "boring"

Well with 1 week of the school holidays gone, and only 5 weeks left.

Today my children went swimming under the "Assembly's free swim scheme", one of their best ideas yet, tomorrow they are off to Greenwood Centre, but what about next week ?

When I was a child I was out of the house by 8.00am and my parents did not see me until after 9.00 in the evening. One time and only 10 years old, we cycled to Felinheli to the Menai Straits and also to see my Nain. Now the children don't go out without their Nintendo DS, Ipod or Mp3, they no longer climb trees, make dens. steal apples or play football and jump accross the river sometimes falling in.

Isn't life for children today boring.
